Patrick N. Cottrell

Patrick Cottrell, 45, of Coleman, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014, at MidMichigan Health in Midland. He was born Jan. 2, 1969, in Mt. Pleasant, son of the late Ronald and Madilyn (Conklin) Cottrell. A graduate of Coleman High School in 1987, Patrick enjoyed gardening, cooking, watching movies, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his daughter and his beloved dog, Harold. Patrick is survived by his daughter, Kelsey Cottrell of Shepherd; Kelseys mother, Terri (Larry) Olsson of Shepherd; siblings, Cindy (Keith) Ames of Mt. Pleasant, Ronald Cottrell II of Mt. Pleasant, Vicki (Mark) Hyde of Altoona, IA, David (Kim) Cottrell of Coleman and Steven (Josi) Cottrell of Coleman; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at Glad Tidings Church in Oil City with his daughter officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
