Patrick R. Klein

Patrick Klein, 80, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018, at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility. Cremation has taken place and a Funeral Mass for Pat will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, September 7, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Don Henkes as celebrant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the church or at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home. Pat was born February 23, 1938, in Mt. Pleasant, son of the late Harold and Susanna (Kripa) Klein. A 1957 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School, Pat was employed as a master plumber for Pat Klein Plumbing and Heating. His marriage to Carol Myshock was blessed with three children, Alan, Eric, and Patrick. He later married Judith (Jarrett) Willis September 10, 1982, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church where he was a lifelong member. Pat is survived by his wife of nearly 36 years, Judy; two children, Eric Klein of Mt. Pleasant and Patrick Klein of Riverdale; daughter-in-law, Amy Klein of Mt. Pleasant; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three step-children, Daniel (Theresa) Willis of Indianapolis, IN, Lea Ann (Mark) Anderson of Traverse City, and James Cliff (Char) Willis of Rosebush; eight step-grandchildren; one great step-granddaughter; three siblings, Sue Gepford of Mt. Pleasant, Daniel Klein of Florida, and Dick (Terry) Klein of Mt. Pleasant; sister-in-law, Shirley Klein of Mt. Pleasant; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Alan Klein; two brothers, Harry and Tom Klein; and step-daughter Amy Willis Schuster.
