Patrick Alan Thompson

Patrick Thompson, 64, of Mt. Pleasant, went to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ, Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at Bay McLaren Hospital in Bay City. Cremation has taken place and the family will receive friends at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 2, from 3-6 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Art Reach of Mid Michigan. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Pat was born February 11, 1954, in Big Rapids, Michigan, son of the late Donald W. and Anna C. (Sims) Thompson. He worked as a custodian at Isabella County Mental Health and at Sacred Heart Academy. He was an accomplished painter, and wood and metal sculptor. He was a proud member of AA for many years. Pat is survived by his brother, Michael (Deborah) Thompson of Hudsonville; close friend, Dick Brooks of Clare; and three nephews, Adam, Joshua, and Jeremiah. He was preceded in death by his parents.
