Paul S. Oswald

Paul S. Oswald, age 70, of Portage, passed away on Friday, Jan. 29, 2016 at his home. Paul was born on September 9, 1945 in Jackson, Michigan, the son of Clarence and Nourma Stanley Oswald. Paul was a resident of Portage for 55 years and was employed in the skilled trades by General Motors for 32 years. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in Vietnam. Paul enjoyed playing his Martin guitars, listening to Detroit Tigers, and reminiscing with family and friends. He loved being with his family. Paul is survived by his wife, Linnea; his children, Tyson Oswald and Tonja Oswald of Portage; and a brother, Keith of East Leroy. He was preceeded in death by his parents and his first wife, Billie. As per Pauls request, no services are planned at this time. Interment will be in Fort Custer at a later date.
