Paul William Pisoni

Paul "Buns" Pisoni, 53, was freed from his pain on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. Paul was born August 9, 1968, in Saginaw, Michigan, son of Charles J. and Nancy P. (Moore) Pisoni. After graduating from Mt. Pleasant High School with the class of 1987, Paul earned his bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University. A short time later, he moved to Dowagiac where he worked as a loan officer. From there he moved to Lansing working for DART as the manager of cost accounting. In time he developed a passion for flipping houses and decided to become a real estate agent in the process. Paul loved sports, especially basketball where he was a walk-on at CMU. Paul was a very likeable person. It was easy to become his friend, and he had more than his share of them. More than anything though, Paul loved and adored his children. They were his priority in life, and he was such a devoted father. Left to cherish his memory are his three children, Amanda Pisoni of Kalamazoo, Trevor Pisoni and Kyle Pisoni, both of Lansing; his parents, Chuck and Nancy Pisoni of Mt. Pleasant; siblings, Chip (Stephanie) Pisoni of Scottsdale, AZ, Meg (Norm) Foster of Rochester, Amy (Januarie Shank) Pisoni of Maumee, OH, Jo Jo Pisoni (Gene Ketchum) of Mt. Pleasant; special sister, Diane Finn of DeKalb, IL; and beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Pisoni; and sister in-law, Beth Pisoni. Paul's memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home. A luncheon will follow in Lincoln Reception Center (attached to the funeral home). The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. and on Wednesday one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
