Paul Clarence Siers

Paul Siers, 76, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022, at MyMichigan Medical Center Gratiot in Alma, Michigan. Paul was born April 29, 1945, in Saginaw, Michigan, son of the late Clarence and Evangeline (Somerfeld) Siers. Paul received his graduate degree from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome.  He married Gloria Fedyk on October 27, 1973, at St. Michael's Church in Dearborn, Michigan. Paul was employed by Isabella Bank for over 35 years, retiring as a financial advisor. In addition, Paul was very proud of the small business he established, cultivating Autumn Berries. Some of his favorite pastimes were woodworking, fishing, taking in all that nature had to offer, and sharing thoughts on theology and philosophy during Friday lunches with his group of friends. Paul was an avid traveler and had a special attachment to Italy. Paul gave back to his community. He was a member of Rotary, served on the Listening Ear board, and was co-founder of the Amateur Hockey Association of Mt. Pleasant (AHAMP). Devoted to his Catholic faith, Paul was actively involved at Sacred Heart Parish where his sincere, robust, and soothing voice captivated those attending Mass. More than anything, Paul loved and adored his family. He leaves behind his wife, Gloria; children, Greg (Ashley) Siers of Silver Springs, MD, Brian  (Samantha Williams) Siers of Chicago, IL, and Kari (James) Chrenka of Alma; four grandchildren, Stella, Peter, Elliott, and Allison; siblings, Kathleen Callard of Fort Myers, FL, Lucianne Siers of Chicago, IL, Susan (Fayez) Radwan of Grand Ledge, James (Mary Catherine) Siers of Saginaw, and Peter  (Stephanie Hale) Siers of Ann Arbor; and numerous nieces and nephews. A private Funeral Mass will be celebrated for Paul. A public memorial service will be held on a later date to be announced. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Mt.
