Perry Lee Fargo

Perry Lee Fargo, age 50, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013 at McLaren Central Michigan Hospital.

Perry was born on June 28, 1962 to Fay Dewitt Fargo and Ruth Ann (Ahrens) Richards in Mt. Pleasant. Perry grew up in Mt. Pleasant and surrounding area and he graduated from Shepherd High School. He loved working on cars, camping, nature and the outdoors but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Anyone that knew Perry would say he was a "people person".

Perry leaves to cherish his memory his significant other, Athena Jackson; son, Jacob Fargo and Shanna of Amory, MS; daughter, Diamond Haney; granddaughter, Kyleigh Ruth Fargo; brothers and sister, Grant Fargo, Troy Richards, Thomas Smith and Rebecca Hoard and mother-in-law, Mary Mitchell.

A memorial service in celebrations of Perry's life will be at the Maier Family Funeral Home, 5483 W. Weidman Road, Weidman, MI on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dean Willard officiating. A visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. (one hour prior to the service).

Memorials in Perry's honor can be made to the family to help with funeral expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
