Peter Zelesket

Peter Junior Zelesket, 88, of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan passed away on Friday, December 01, 2017 at the Brook of Roscommon in Roscommon, Michigan. Pete was born on Saturday, December 8, 1928 in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Peter and Mary (Hancorek) Zelesket. On March 11, 1955, Pete married the former Joyce Jean Collier in Middleton, Michigan. Pete was a welder for Total Petroleum for forty-two and a half years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954. Funeral services celebrating Petes life will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rowley Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Interment will follow the funeral service in Memorial Gardens, Mt. Pleasant. The family will gather with friends at Rowley Funeral Home on Monday from 6-8 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until time of the service. Friends have been asked to consider the Alzheimers Association for memorial contributions. Peter is survived by two children, Richard Zelesket of Birch Run and Shari Dunham of Florida; two grandsons, Tony and Jill Narker and Adam and Lindsey Narker; and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, a son, Peter Junior, and six brothers and sisters.
