Randall Allen Jackson

Randall Jackson, 56, of Weidman, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021, at Cookville Regional Medical Center in Cookville, TN.  Randall was born on March 2, 1965, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, son of Lorne and Charlene (Bennett) Jackson. He graduated from Chippewa Hills High School and on February 14, 2006, married Ronda Bryant at the Soaring Eagle Casino where he was employed as a Black-Jack dealer for six years. He also worked at the Soaring Eagle Water Park in the maintenance department for four years. Some of Randy's favorite pastimes were playing Euchre, horseshoes, Bingo, cornhole, and slot machines. He also enjoyed nature walks, kayaking, traveling with Ronda, and hanging out with his family and friends, especially with his brother, Jeff. Randy was the kind of person that would help anyone out, even if that meant playing Santa Claus during Christmastime. Beyond anything, Randy loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Ronda; children, Brandy Jackson of Weidman, Mandy (Adam) Jackson-Flachs of Mt. Pleasant, Wendy Cody Jackson-Smith of Weidman, and Brett Jackson of Weidman; step children, Scott (Cheynne) Gardner of Beaverton, Josh (Carolyn) Gardner of Mt. Pleasant, Sam (Suzie) Gardner of Clare, and Jed (Savannah) Gardner of Clare; his father, Lorne Jackson of Weidman; siblings, Lillian Jackson-Olson of Weidman, Jeffrey Jackson (Mike Miller) of Weidman, and Lorna Jackson of Weidman; 38 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlene Jackson; children, Brandon Jackson and Kelli Jackson; granddaughter, Kaylee Flachs and siblings, Lorne Jackson Jr., Laurie Jackson, and Lisa Jackson. Randy's funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 11, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home with Pastor Doyle Perry officiating. Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on both Tuesday and Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and on Thursday one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
