Rebecca L. Bush

Rebecca L. Bush, affectionately known as Beccy, passed away on January 22, 2026, at the age of 75 in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Born on September 2, 1950, in Mecosta County, Michigan, she was the beloved daughter of Kenneth Roy and Ruth Ann (Simpson) Bush. Beccy was the third of five children, cherished by her elder sisters, Connie and Joan, and later joined by her younger brothers, Danny and Kenneth.

Beccy graduated from Chippewa Hills High School in 1968, and dedicated her career to Wolverine Worldwide in Rockford, where she worked in the payroll department. After her mother's passing and upon her retirement, she devoted herself to caring for her father until his death.

Beccy was an avid reader, a music lover, and enjoyed watching movies. She was an active member of the United by Faith Christian Church in Wyman, Michigan, and was known for her friendly and loving nature. A collector of various items, including Irises and figurines, Beccy was a people person who held a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews, despite not having children of her own.

Beccy is survived by three siblings, Joan Allen of Mason, Danny (June) Bush of Edmore, and Kenneth (Leanne) Bush of Blanchard; nieces and nephews, Jason (Amanda) Badgley, Brenda Allen and Ben (Annette) Allen Jr., Davie (Kathy) Bush, Jamie (Jelanie) Bush, and Bobbi Jo (Brian) Kieff, and Staci (Travis) Wood and Jennifer (Tom) Bevington; Aunt Vivian Bush of Blanchard; and special friends Michael and Barb Waldschlager and Sarah Curtis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Connie Badgley; and brother-in-law, Ben Allen.

A memorial service for Rebecca will be held on March 21, 2026 at 1 pm at the United By Faith Christian Church.
