Ricardo Fuerte-Alvarado

Ricardo Fuerte, 35, of Mt. Pleasant and formerly of Guanajuato, Mexico, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021, at McLaren Central Michigan after Covid-19 complications. He was born November 23, 1985, in Guanajuato, Mexico, son of Antonio and Maria (Alvarado) Fuerte. He was employed by Annette's Construction the past seven years and was a very good carpenter. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on cars and having cookouts. More than anything, he adored his family and had a close relationship with his cousins and friends. Ricardo is survived by his children, Ariana Fuerte and Adan Salazar of Kalamazoo; mother, Maria Alvarado of Guanajuato, Mexico; siblings, Antonio (June) Fuerte of Mt. Pleasant; Monica (Alfonso) Fuerte of Guanajuato, Mexico, Ernesto (Raquel) Fuerte of Guanajuato, Mexico, and Viviana (Beto) Fuerte of Guanajuato, Mexico; fiancée, Lacy Holmes of Mt. Pleasant; special friends, Mike (Annette) Florian, Amanda Griffin, Mike Vanbuskirk, Kaleb Griffin, Kaitlynn Griffin, and LillyOnna Vanbuskirk of Shepherd; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his companion feline, Benny. He was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Fuerte. Ricardo's funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 25, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home with Dar Blanshan officiating. A luncheon will follow in Lincoln Reception Center (attached to the funeral home). The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Ricardo will be laid to rest in Guanajuato, Mexico.
