Richard Earl, 82, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at his home. Richard was born November 12, 1939, in Isabella County, Michigan, son of the late Willis Kenneth and Evelyn Mary (Rademacher) Earl. Richard was a 1958 graduate of Beal City High School, he married Janet Irene Schafer on April 4, 1959, at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Winn, Michigan. He was employed by Alma Products for 36 years as a car disk sorter, retiring in 2002. Some of his favorite pastimes were fishing, hunting, and hanging in his garage, tinkering. Richard is survived by his children, Lynn (Pat) DeLong of Mt. Pleasant, and Ron (Suzanne Greco) Earl of Mt. Pleasant; seven grandchildren, Amanda DeLong, Tiffany (Stuart) Lusk, Tonya (William) McGillen, Brandi Earl, Hollie (Tim) Batchelder, Amber (John) Roberts and Ashley (Norman) Curtiss; eleven great grandchildren; three siblings Larry (Deb) Earl of Laingsburg, Donna Bellinger of Mt. Pleasant, Jean Beck of Lansing, and Shirley (Roger) Rice of Alma; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janet Earl; son, Rick Earl; and siblings, Louis Earl, Connie Malley, and Karen Long. He will be laid to rest in St. Leo's Cemetery in Winn on Friday, August 12, 2022, at 12 p.m. with Deacon Larry Fussman officiating.
