Richard Enterline, 66, of St. Louis, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009, at Gratiot Medical Center in Alma. Cremation has taken place and his memorial service will be held in the spring. The family is being served by the Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home, 2300 S. Lincoln Rd., Mt. Pleasant. Memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 5075 Cascade Rd. SE, Suite F, Grand Rapids MI 49546. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Richard was born Jan. 10, 1943, in St. Johns, the son of the late Donald J. and Doris M. (Worth) Enterline. He married Patricia Barber on Nov. 3, 1962, in Savanna, GA. He and his wife spent their summers in Hillman, and in years past, spent their winters in Arizona. He was employed by General Motors for 35 years. He attended Southern Baptist Church in Hillman. Some of his favorite pastimes were fishing and watching movies. He also enjoyed motorcycles, but most of all, he enjoyed camping in Hillman and just being around fellow campers. Richard returned to finish his high school education and graduated in 1985 from Vestaburg High School. Richard is survived by his wife of 47 years, Pat of St. Louis; three children, Lyle Enterline of Munising, Shellie (Kerry) Komperda of Alma, and Paula (Dennis) Nicholson of Breckenridge; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
