Richard "Rick" J. Moreau

Richard J. Moreau, 35, of Mt. Pleasant died Monday, April 8, 2002. A memorial mass is scheduled for 1 p.m., Sunday, April 14, at St. Marys University Parish with Father Jeff Donner officiating. The family will receive friends at the church 30 minutes prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Boysville of Michigan. Envelopes will be available at the church or at Lux Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Rick was born November 6, 1966, in Alpena, the son of Richard B. and Joyce Marie (Newhouse) Moreau. He was employed at ABC Warehouse as a stock person. He also was an Avon man. Some of Ricks favorite pastimes were bowling, golfing, and fishing. He was a member of the Monday Nite bowling League at Chippewa Lanes, the Knights of Columbus Council 1297, and St. Marys University Parish. Rick is survived by his father and step-mother, Richard B. Moreau and Diana McKenna Moreau of Mt. Pleasant; his sister, Mary Moreau of Mt. Pleasant; and his brother, Steve Moreau of Mt. Pleasant. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Moreau in 1991.
