Richard Scott Van Bonn

Richard Van Bonn, 62, of Blanchard, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.  Richard was born on April 3, 1962, in Livonia, MI, son of Shirlee (Wortley) Van Bonn and the late Harold Van Bonn.  Richard married Lisa Jankowsky on May 21, 1988, in Blanchard.  He worked for Delfield for over 30 years.  Richard enjoyed hunting, bowling, golfing, fishing, and watching Michigan football, Detroit Red Wings, and NASCAR.  He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  Richard is survived by his wife of 36 years, Lisa; children, Rachel (Luke) Robbins of Alma, and Devon (Kortney) Van Bonn of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Xavier, Addy, Emily and Daxton; mother, Shirlee Van Bonn; brothers, Joel, Jeff (Marty) and Todd (Kelly) Van Bonn; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Van Bonn.  Family will receive friends on Thursday, October 17, 2024, for a visitation from 4pm – 7pm at the Charles R.
