Robert Bruce Armstrrong

Robert Armstrong, 83, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016, at his home. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned. Robert was born Aug. 10, 1933, in Saginaw, son of the late Bruce and Pearl (Watt) Armstrong. He married Donna Shaner on in Nov. 1955 in Mt. Pleasant. He was employed as a tool and die maker for Melling Products in Farwell for 17 years and Ferro Mfg. for 30 years prior. Robert is survived by five children, Margaret (Dick) White of Rosebush, Cindy Kirkey (Brian Johansen) of Paris, MI, Robert (Mary) Armstrong of Mt. Pleasant, Sandra (Dave) Hovey of Round Rock, TX, and Merle (Marla) Armstrong of Belmont; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Donna.
