Robert Eugene Scott, Jr., age 54, of Mt. Pleasant and formerly of Lansing went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 21, 2016.Robert was born on June 6, 1961 to Robert and Rosemary (Carew) Scott in Lansing.



Robert was a man of many talents and spent his later years working for Dean Transportation as a bus driver from 2008 to 2015. He also enjoyed drawing, film collecting, cooking, photography, singing in his church choir, and meeting new people.Robert loved his family and he had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren and great grandchild.



He was a member of the Pennsylvania Avenue Original Church of God in Lansing.

Robert is survived by his father, Robert E. Scott Sr. of Lansing; children, William Petty,

Charles (Xuantrang) Petty, Andrea Poole, Charity Jones, Amber (Timothy Grove) Poole, Autumn Scott, Robert Eugene (Jessica Abbott) Scott III; 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; siblings, Paul (BJ) Scott, Kimalee Scott, and Lana (Ernest) Nelson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.



Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary and his brother, Vincent.

Per Robert's request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of Robert's life will take place at a later date.
