Robert Thomas Sisson

Robert Sisson, 86, of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan passed away Tuesday, April 10, at Woodland Hospice in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. His funeral will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, April 16 at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home with Deacon Jim Damitio officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery immediately following. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home. Bob was born April 8, 1932, in Gaylord, son of the late Floyd and Francis (Watson) Sisson. As a child he relocated to Mancelona, Michigan where he graduated from high school. Bob served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict and for most of his life, worked in car sales. He owned a business in Wyandotte before establishing Bob Sisson Used Cars on Pickard Street in Mount Pleasant. Besides his work, he enjoyed his cattle business on his farm in Weidman. Bob will be remembered for his sense of humor and joy in telling a good story. Bob is survived by his children, James and Jennifer; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Francis Sisson; and siblings, Eldon, Maureen, Mildred and Kenneth.
