Robert B. Werner

Robert B. Werner, aged 54, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Born on April 23, 1971, in Big Rapids, Michigan, he was the beloved son of Robert L. and Sandra K. (Lyndsey) Werner Jr. A graduate of Chippewa Hills High School in 1990, Robert went on to serve his country in the U.S. Navy. On September 9, 1995, he married Marcie Anderson at Stanwood Methodist Church, marking the beginning of a loving partnership.

Robert was employed by the Auto Group in Mt. Pleasant and had also worked for Sears. He was a devoted family man who cherished spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter Harper. Known for his selflessness, gentleness, and kindness, Robert touched many lives simply by being himself.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 30 years, Marcie; two children, Megan (Ryan) Olson of Bay City and Nicholas Werner (Emma Goudreau) of Gaines; granddaughter, Harper Lyn; parents, Robert and Sandra Werner; brother, Scott (Leah) Werner of Remus; nieces, Isabel (Kaleb) Lee and Elaina Werner; and many cousins.

Robert's life will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, September 5, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home with Celebrant Michelle Sponseller officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
