Robert David Wilson

Bob passed away at Woodland Hospice in Mt Pleasant Michigan with his wife of 33 years, Sandy, at his side. Bob is survived by his five children from his marriage to the late Lee Medford. They are David, Gord, James, Allison and Eric Wilson. Bob leaves behind seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Bob is a 1954 engineering graduate of the University of Michigan, majoring in Design and Analysis of turbojet and Liquid Rocket Systems. He was employed for 36 years by the Marquardt Co. in Van Nuys, California where he was Director of the Aero Propulsion Division. In 1992 the Marquardt Co was sold and Bob and Sandy relocated to northern Virginia where Bob was employed by Atlantic Research Corporation as Director of Airbreathing Systems Engineering until his retirement in 1996. Bob and Sandy moved to Weidman in 2003. Bob enjoyed gardening, reading and relaxing with a good glass of Scotch at day's end.
