Ronald L. Luhring

Ronald Luhring, 59, of Lake, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021, with his family by his side.  Ronald was born February 27, 1962, in Chicago, Illinois, son of the late Luis and Lois (Hamm) Luhring.  Ron liked to hunt and fish.  He drove figure eight derby cars.  He had a passion for building and owned his own business for 15 plus years before becoming an insurance adjustor for AAA Insurance Company. Ron is survived by his children, Rachel Luhring of Lake and Ronald Luhring Jr. of Tennessee; grandchildren, Jonathan, Carlin, Dominic, Kenzi and Khloie; siblings, Brent, Rita, June, Nilda, and Jimmy; nephews, Brent, Brandon, Ron, Jason, Chris, and James; nieces, Autumn, Lori, Valerie, Carrie, Raven, Angie, Renee, and Kaitlyn; lifelong friends, Gina Hamilton, Don Lett, and the Smeal Family; first wife, Regina Branum.  Ron was preceded in death by both parents; wife, Nancy Hija-Luhring; step-daughter, Diana Germaine; siblings, Joyce and Junior; lifelong friend, Mike Hamilton.   A public memorial service for Ronald will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home with Daryl Amrozowicz officiating.    Family will receive friends for a public visitation one hour prior to the service.
