Rosaline B. Fancovic, 84, of Rosebush went to the Lord on Monday, October 13, 2003. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, at St. Henry Catholic Church in Rosebush with Father Jeff Donner and Lorraine McGuiness officiating. Burial will be in St. Henry Cemetery. Friends may call at Lux Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with a vigil service beginning at 7 p.m. Visitation continues at the church on Thursday from 10-11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Michigan or to the charity of the donors choice. Envelopes are available at Lux Funeral Home. Rosaline was born Jan. 12, 1919, in Lebanon, Pa., the daughter of Andrew and Anna (Varecka) Baronik. Shortly thereafter the family moved to the Rosebush area where she lived the remainder of her life. She married Joseph P. Fancovic on Jan. 24, 1938. They lived on a farm northwest of Rosebush and raised their family there. Rosaline was a homemaker and also worked outside the home at Ferro Mfg. for 27 years. She later worked 11 years at the Regional Center, retiring in 1980. Rosaline enjoyed gardening and traveling with the sun-shine girls until her health would no longer allow her. She was a member of St. Henry Church, St. Henry Altar Society, and the State Employees Retirement Association. Rosaline is survived by her son, Gerald and Ruth Fancovic of Rosebush; two daughters, Linda and Robert Ervin of Mt. Pleasant and Janice Klopman of Waterford; 11 grandchildren, Lisa (Nevil Slack) Fancovic, Michele Fancovic, Lynnette Fancovic, Michael (Monica) Ervin, John Ervin, Robert A. Ervin (and fiancee, Erin Shellenbarger) Jeremy Ervin, Jamie Lynn Ervin, Amy Klopman, Eron (Brent) Liddy, and Sara Klopman; five great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Patrick, and Jack Michael Ervin, Arron Slack and Cody Liddy; one sister, Agnes (Harry) Dresch of Valrice, Fla.; sisters-in-law, Margaret Andrews of Lebanon, Pa., Burnice Fancovic of Midland, and Wilma Cupello, Francine Fancovic, and Mary Ruth Fancovic all of Coleman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Anna Baronik; husband, Joseph (1991); sister, Helen Onstott (1983); brother, Joe Baronik (1978); grandson, Andrew Fancovic; and granddaughter, Sue Ann Ervin.
