Rosemary Bellinger, 94, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017, at The Laurels of Mt. Pleasant. A Funeral Mass for Rosemary will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 3, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Beal City with Father Ricky Varner as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery with a luncheon to conclude in the basement of the church. The family will receive friends in the gathering room of the church on Friday from 4-8 p.m. with the Rosary beginning at 7:30 p.m. followed by a time for sharing. Visitation continues on Saturday one hour prior to Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Church. Envelopes will be available at the church or at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home. Rosemary was born August 29, 1922, in Linden Grove, MN, daughter of the late Fred C. and Maria J. (Maibach) Ulrich. She married William G. Bellinger on August 28, 1943, in Davison, MI. She worked as a teacher for over 25 years in the Clio and Dansville school districts. She was a member of the MEA, NEA, National Bridge Club, and Percheron Horse Association. She enjoyed watching television, and playing cards, especially bridge. She was a sports enthusiast and was very proud of her family. Rosemary is survived by 12 children, Theresa Bellinger of Mt. Pleasant, Andrew (Denise) Bellinger of Lake, Patricia (Tony) Baldwin of Howard City, Rebecca Bellinger of Leslie, Carolyn (Leslie) Kaatz of Leslie, Kim (Shearard) Westbrook of Westland, William (Sue) Bellinger, of Coleman, Peter Bellinger of Remus, Matthew (Laurie) Bellinger of Elwell, Timothy Bellinger of Mt. Pleasant, Adam Bellinger of Arizona, and Rosie (Bruce) Sherman of Hesperia; 33 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many dear nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Maria Ulrich; husband, William Bellinger in 1988; and siblings, Harold Ulrich, Winifred Harmon, Frederick Ulrich, Ralph Ulrich, and Joseph Ulrich.
