Russell H. Myers, Jr.

Russell H. Myers, Jr., 33, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2002 at St. Marys Hospital in Saginaw. His funeral will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, March 1, at Lux Funeral Home with Pastor Todd Bruning of Immanuel Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Chippewa Township Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 5-8 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. until service time. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes are available at Lux Funeral Home. Russell was born August 28, 1968, in Clare, the son of Emma (Stratton) Alden. He married Susan Ryno November 25, 1989 in Remus. He enjoyed hunting and life in general, though, his daughters were the center of his life. He has been working in construction the past five years. Russell is survived by his wife, Susan of Mt. Pleasant; two daughters, Megan and Molly; his parents, Emma (Larry) Alden of Onondaga; two brothers, William (Toni) Myers of Mecosta and John (Pam) Myers of Onondaga; sister, Donnajean Myers of Eaton Rapids; brother and sister-in-law, Todd and Jennifer Diederich of Coleman; grandmother, Donna Stratton of Ravenna; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather.
