Ruth Edith Cole

Ruth E. Cole, 88, of Mt. Pleasant and formerly of Florida died Tuesday, December 2, 2003 at the Wooden Rocker. Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Michigan. Envelopes are available at Lux Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Ruth was born Aug. 3, 1915, in Hillman, the daughter of Elmer and Sara (Rittgers) Funk. She married Delbert Cole in 1937. She is survived by her son, Gary (Ann) Cole of Mt. Pleasant; daughter, Judy (Robert) Broad of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; six grandchildren, Mark (Julie) Cole, Scott (Cindy) Cole, Laurie Watson, Terrie (Derrick) House, Todd (Jennifer) Barr and Thad Barr; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Delbert in 2000; and infant triplet daughters.
