Ruth Ann Jansen

Ruth Jansen, 62, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023, at the Laurels in Mt. Pleasant.  Ruth was born April 10, 1960, in West Branch, daughter of the late Newell and Janet (McCann) Jansen.  She enjoyed sewing, word find books and needle point.  She loved to socialize with her neighbors and had a gift of giving gifts for all holidays.  She will be greatly missed by many.  Ruth is survived by four children, Gene, Tina, Lynn and Jimmy; siblings, Newell (Robin) Jansen Jr. of Hale, Lorie (Michael) Kopina of Hale, Kenneth Jansen of Tawas and Jeanne (Karman) Ouderkirk of Mt. Pleasant.  She is proceeded in death by both parents; sister, Vicki and brother, John.  Cremation has taken place at Memorial Fields Crematory and there are no services scheduled at this time.
