Ryan Maxwell Anderson

Ryan Anderson, 32, of Mt. Pleasant passed away unexpectedly at his home in Mt. Pleasant on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.  Ryan was born on March 19, 1991, in South Bend, Indiana, the son of Doug and Cheryl Anderson.  He graduated from Edwardsburg High School with the class of 2009.  After moving to Mt. Pleasant, he married Amanda Voss on June 15, 2012, in Mt Pleasant.  Ryan became a Real Estate Broker and co-owned First Choice Reality with Carol Farnan in Mt Pleasant.  He spent a lot of time in the Mt Pleasant community building his business and really enjoyed selling homes.  As a hobby, he and Amanda liked to "flip" homes. In addition, he enjoyed fishing and boating on Coldwater Lake with his family.  Ryan was a good father, his two daughters, Kelsey and Emily meant everything to him.  He will be greatly missed by so many.  Ryan is survived by his wife, Amanda; two daughters at home, Kelsey, and Emily; father, Doug Anderson of Mt Pleasant; mother, Cheryl Anderson; in-laws; Tom (Sue) Voss of South Bend, IN; best friend, Bryan ("Saint" Madison) Chapman of Mt. Pleasant; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  A funeral service for Ryan will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, September 18, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home with Bryan Chapman officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Immediately following there will be a luncheon held at R & R Venue in Shepherd (550 E. Wright Ave., Shepherd, MI), all are invited to join the family in a meal. He will be laid to rest in North Shore Memory Gardens Cemetery, Coloma, MI, in a private family service.
