Shannon Marie Stalter

Shannon Stalter, 52, of Mt. Pleasant and formerly of Brookings, South Dakota, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at McLaren Central Michigan. She was born August 11, 1966, in St. Cloud, Minnesota, daughter of Johnny and Donna (Govan) McCray. She graduated from Apollo High School in St. Cloud, MN and attended college at South Dakota State University. Shannon married Roger Stalter on October 14, 2016, in Greenville, Michigan. She has resided in Mt. Pleasant since 2018. Shannon is survived by her husband, Roger Stalter; three children Cody McCray and Cameron McCray, both of Mt. Pleasant and Jasmine McCray of Brookings, SD; parents, Johnny and Donna McCray of St. Cloud, MN; two brothers, Shaun McCray of St. Cloud, MN and Johnathon (Kim) McCray of Brooklyn Park, MN; three step-children, Robby Rolston of Mt. Pleasant, Taylor Stalter of Mt. Pleasant, and Shay Stalter of Clare; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Neal Johnny McCray III: and an infant sister, Valentine. A private family service will be held.
