Sharon McMichael, 78, of Lake Isabella, died Friday, April 16, 2021, at McLaren Central Michigan. Sherry was born May 6, 1942, in Sand Lake, Michigan, daughter of the late L. Gaylord and Velma (Manning) Ensley. She graduated from Greenville High School in 1960. Sherry married the love of her life, Dennis McMichael, on June 22, 1974, in Greenville. Sherry loved her children and grandchildren, and light housing all of the lower peninsula of Michigan. She was a softball mom for eight years in Waterford. Sherry collected lighthouses, Jim Shore artwork, and Thomas Kinkade paintings. She loved all of her dogs, especially her dog Brody. Sherry enjoyed shopping on QVC, reading Stephen King books, watching Investigation Discovery crime shows. She was an ardent Detroit Tigers fan and the best wife a man could have. Sherry is survived by her loving husband, Dennis; children, Bryan Taylor (Sally Tillery) of Lake Isabella, Dean Taylor of Waikaloa, Hawaii, Shari (Charlie) Coffin of Waterford, Tonya Cach of Lake Isabella, and Heather (Chuck) Schoen of Clarkston; grandchildren, Ashley Hughes, Nicole Kailipaka, Kendra Cach, Chene Coffin, Carly Coffin, Charlie Schoen, and Abby Schoen; great grandchildren, Olivia Hershberger and Taya Palacat; sisters, Lynda Wittkopp of Port Richey, Fl., and Gayle Fout of Shell Knob, MS. She is preceded in death by both parents; brothers-in-law, Elon Wittkopp and Bill Fout; grandsons, Jacob Hersberger and Chance Cach. There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, July 30, 2021, at 11 AM in East Montcalm Cemetery, about three miles North of Greenville. Luncheon will follow at Turk Lake Tavern.
