Sharon Miller, 69, of Mt. Pleasant and formerly of St. Clair Shores passed away Friday, March 26, 2010, at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility. The family will receive friends at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home, 2300 S. Lincoln Rd., on Monday from 2-6 p.m. Visitation will continue at Kaul Funeral Home in St. Clair Shores on Tuesday from 4-9 p.m. with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery on Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Sharon was born Aug. 21, 1940, in Detroit, the daughter of Roy and Kathryn (Dill) McMann. A graduate of Rio Hondo High School, Texas, in 1958, Sharon married the late Aubrey Joe Miller on August 10, 1962. She drove bus for the Tower Bus Company in Mt. Clemens, retiring in 1983. Moving to Mt. Pleasant in 1988, she purchased Shardis Hideaway Campground and continued to own it until her death. She loved animals, especially her dogs. In her youth, Sharon was a talented bowler. But most important in her life was her family. Sharon leaves behind her two daughters, Kathryn Miller of Mt. Pleasant and Joellyn Miller of St. Clair Shores; and four grandchildren, Joey, Joshua, Jacob Freist, and Nicole Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and two infant sons, Joey and Roy.
