Sheldon Price, 80, of Mt. Pleasant and formerly of Saginaw, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2002 at the Wooden Rocker. His funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 4, at Lux Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Shugert of the First Presbyterian Church in Mt. Pleasant officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Saginaw. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to The Wooden Rocker. Envelopes are available at Lux Funeral Home. Sheldon was born September 12, 1922, in Saginaw, the son of Richard and Arlene (Bradley) Price. He graduated in 1941 from Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw. He was a member of the Saginaw County Farm Bureau having farmed most of his life. He loved spending time with his family and friends and most of all spoiling his nieces and nephews with an overabundance of love and laughter. Sheldon is survived by his sister, Ruth Hall of Rochester Hills; brother-in-law Arthur R. Periard Sr. of Mt. Pleasant; six nieces Carol (James) Robertson of Tuscon, AZ, Catherine (Richard) Herzberg of Tuscon, AZ, Patricia Kimball of Port Angeles, WA, Elaine Price of Saginaw, Jeane Perry of Cheboygan, and Evelyn Bradley of Rochester; four nephews Richard (Sue) Price of St. Charles, Robert (Mary Anne) Price of Saginaw, Ronald (Carol) Periard of Springfield, IL and Arthur (Mary) Periard Jr. of Mt. Pleasant. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Melvin, Lawrence and Burnell and a sister, Doris.
