Shelley Kaye Mioduszewski

Shelley Mioduszewski, 51, of Mt. Pleasant and formerly of Mancelona, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at home with her family by her side after a battle with cancer. Cremation has taken place and her memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home with Pastor Jeremy Selvidge of First Church of the Nazarene officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the service begins. Memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (60 E. 56th St., 8th Floor, New York, NY 10022). Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Shelley was born Feb. 11, 1965, in Traverse City, daughter of Gordon and Sandra (Vandergriff) Scholl. She graduated from Mancelona High School in 1983 and earned her bachelors degree from Central Michigan University. On Dec. 6, 1986, she married Leo Mioduszewski at First United Methodist Church in Gaylord. She was currently employed by Huhtamaki, Inc. as the director of human resources. She had also worked in human resources for Migizi Corp., Unified Brands, and Fabiano Brothers. She was a member of Mid Michigan Human Resources Association, enjoyed gardening, and was very skilled in finance. But more than anything she enjoyed spending time with her family and spent many hours watching her sons sporting events. Shelley is survived by her husband of nearly 30 years, Leo; two sons, Travis Mioduszewski of Saginaw and Derek Mioduszewski of Mt. Pleasant; mother, Sandra Scholl of Kalkaska, father, Gordon (Audrey) Scholl of Kaleva; and brother, Tony Scholl of Mancelona.
