Shelly Anne Martin (Pasch)

Shelly Martin, 59, of Rosebush, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at home. She was born May 23, 1963, in Mt. Pleasant, daughter of Glenn and Sheila (Mead) Pasch, and was the eldest of five children. A 1982 graduate of Beal City High School, Shelly married Micheal Martin in 2004 in Weidman. She was employed by Central Michigan University for 32 years, retiring in 2017. Shelly loved camping, especially at Lake George Family Campground. A green thumb by nature, Shelly loved to plant things and could make nearly anything grow. In addition, she was a wonderful baker. Shelly never met a person she didn't like. She will truly be missed. Shelly is survived by her husband, Micheal; father, Glenn Pasch of Beal City, siblings, Rose (Jim) Shufelt of Shepherd, Tim (Terri) Pasch of Farwell, Becky Pasch of Weidman, and Suzanne (Roger) Donaldson of Clare; nieces and nephews, Kayla, Ashley, Justin, Hunter, Colby, Colin, Silas, Jack, Chelsea, and Amanda; 3 grand nephews; several aunts and uncles; brother in-law, Steve (Dottie) Martin of Shepherd; and her faithful canines, O.J. and Oscar. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shelia; and brother in law, David Martin. Shelly's life will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, May 22, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home with Deacon Jim Damitio officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Immediately following, all are invited to a meal in Lincoln Reception Center (attached to the funeral home). Shelly will be laid to rest in Gilmore Township Cemetery that afternoon.
