Steven Craig Mursch

Steven Craig Mursch, aged 62, of Weidman and formerly of St. Helen, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024, at his residence after an 18-month battle with cancer. Born on July 31, 1962, in Big Rapids, Michigan, Steven was the beloved son of Ralph and Janet (Baldwin) Mursch. He was lovingly raised by his mother Janet and stepfather Robert Lee Nanninga in Stanwood, where he attended high school.

Steven was a self-employed residential renovator, known for his dedication and skill. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, a pastime that brought him much joy.

He is survived by his devoted companion, Alison Nelson; his siblings, Connie (Bill) Lanau and brother Jeffrey Nanninga (fiancee Carla Towne); and his cherished nieces, Tiffany Lanau, Dana Bolton, Randi Cornell, and Michelle Reinhart. Steven was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, and brother Roger Lee Nanninga.
