Steven Samuel Myshock

Steven Samuel Myshock, age 66 of Weidman passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 10, 2019.

Steve was born on April 13, 1953 to Paul and Leona (Leffingwell) Myshock in Mt. Pleasant. He grew up on the family farm 2 miles east of Leaton and attended St. Henry's Elementary, Rosebush Middle School and Mt Pleasant High School, graduating with the class of 1971. Steve served his country proudly in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed riding his bike and deer hunting. He also loved working on jigsaw puzzles and cheering on the Detroit Lions and Tigers. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews as they were growing up. Steve's first job was working at Wentworth's IGA.He worked at the Dinner (now the Diner)and later as a dealer for the Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant. He attended the AA Group in Mt. Pleasant for many years and was a member of Odd Fellows of Mt. Pleasant where he was a bingo caller.

Steve is survived by his siblings, Charlene Kerby, Jean Amick, Thomas (Michelle) Myshock, Marilyn (James) Toney, Anita (Bob) Battleshaw, and Carla Birk; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carol Myshock and brother, James Victor Myshock.

Per Steve's request, cremation has taken place and private family services will take place in the spring.
