Susan Lois (Storrs) Welsh

Susan Welsh, 91, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024, after a long illness, at home with family by her side. She was born May 19, 1932, in Clare, Michigan, daughter of the late Charles Albert and Minnie (Larman) Storrs. She graduated from Clare High School. Her marriage to Keith Edward Welsh, on May 26, 1961, was blessed with two children. Susan was employed by Dow in Midland and retired after working for Central Michigan University. Some of her favorite pastimes were caring for cows, farming, gardening, and being with her loyal canine companion, Lewie. Susan leaves behind her children, Walter (Mary) Welsh of Mt. Pleasant and William (Annette) Welsh of Clare; ten grandchildren, Melissa, Toni, Mark, Tristan, James, Tonya, Latasha, Carrie, Cassondra, and Chezney; 22 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Loretta Wood. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Leory Storrs; and husband, Keith. The family is planning a private service.
