On June 19, 2024, Terry left this earth for his eternal home while using his gifts and talents to help someone else. He was born on July 19, 1951, in Lansing, Michigan to Earl and Patricia (Frappier) Bond. Terry graduated from East Jordan High School in 1969, and on August 8, 1970, he married his first love, Darlene "Dar" J. Tisron. Terry and Dar had two children, Christopher (Kristin) Bond and Kelley (Eric) Borodychuk. Christopher and Kristin gave them three grandchildren – Sydney, Nicholas, and Owen. Kelley and Eric gave them four grandchildren - Kyle, Logan, Alexis, and Morgan. Terry graduated from CMU with a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education in 1974. He worked at National Supply and Delfield where he made lifelong friends. He left Delfield to spend more time with and care for Dar as she battled cancer and to work as a builder. Eventually, he worked alongside his son in-law, Eric, in their company B-Squared Construction. He was an engineer, master carpenter, contractor, and woodworking genius. He loved to snowmobile, their family cabin "Oleo Acres" in Levering, and the cottage in Grayling. He was passionate about coaching his kids in sports, and attending sporting events, first for Chris and Kelley and then for his grandchildren. To say he was a fan of his grandchildren while they played sports or any other activity they did is an understatement. His ability to remember plays, scores, stats, and games was phenomenal. Terry and Dar were married for 35 years until Dar died January 31, 2006. Terry married Kelly Carey on May 19, 2007, and became stepdad to Alianna Carey. Terry loved to work and took pride in everything he did being "done right". Terry had two brothers, Mike (Sherri) Lane and Tom Bond and two sisters Debbie Bond and Sharon (Gary) Fuller. He remained close to Dar's brother Bill (Patti) Tisron. He was preceded in death by his brother Tom Bond, stepmom Elsie Bond, father Earl Bond, mother Patricia, stepfather Ray Lane, father in-law Sam Tisron, mother in-law Mary Tisron, and brother in-law Dave Tisron. His celebration of life will be held at Community Church at 1400 W. Broomfield, Mt. Pleasant. The family will receive family and friends Monday, June 24th from 10 am until the service begins at 11 am. A luncheon will follow. Terry will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery during a private family service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Darlene Bond Memorial Youth Fund at Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation ( https://www.mpacf.org/bond ). To sign the online guest book or leave a condolence for the family please visit www.CharlesRLux.com.
