Thelma Dorlene Vining

Thelma Vining, 86, of Mt. Pleasant passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Medilodge in Mt. Pleasant. She was born on April 13, 1937, in Mt Pleasant, daughter of the late George and Beatrice (Hopkins) Heistand.  Thelma enjoyed playing Bingo and eating out.  She is survived by her son, Harmond Vining of Mt. Pleasant; special niece, Susan Savage of Mt Pleasant; and many more nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by both parents; husband, Eddie Vining; son, Dale; four siblings; and best friend Sandy.  Per Thelma's wishes, cremation has taken place at Memorial Fields Crematory and her ashes will be laid to rest next to her husband, Eddie, in the Chippewa Township Cemetery.  To sign the online guest book or leave a condolence for the family please visit www.CharlesRLux.com.
