Theresa D. Zuehlke

Theresa D. Zuehlke, 46, of Mt. Pleasant and formerly of Illinois died Tuesday, April 20, 2004, at home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, April 23, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Robert Byrne presiding. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery in Tecumseh. Friends may call at Lux Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. with a vigil service beginning at 8:30 p.m. Visitation continues at the church on Friday from 10-11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the New Life/New Hope Campaign at Central Michigan Community Hospital, 1221 S. Drive, Mt. Pleasant MI 48858, or to Hospice of Central Michigan, 401 S. Main, Mt. Pleasant MI 48858. Envelopes are available at Lux Funeral Home. Theresa was born November 26, 1957, in Tecumseh, the daughter of Ralph and Delores (Clark) Lauer. She married Rick Zuehlke September 5, 1981, at St. Joseph Shrine in Irish Hills, Michigan. She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish. Her life revolved around her family. Much of her time was spent attending activities and sporting events of her children. Theresa is survived by her husband, Rick Zuehlke of Mt. Pleasant; three children, Mike Zuehlke, Matt Zuehlke, and Kristin Zuehlke, all at home; her parents, Ralph and Delores Lauer of Tecumseh; two brothers, Ralph Lauer of Adrian and David (Char) Lauer of Onsted; and one sister, Evelyn (Tom) Palek of Woodstock, IL.
