Thomas William Clark

Thomas Clark, 62, of Shepherd, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023. Tom was born December 19, 1960, in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, son of the late Charles and Audrey (Grimm) Clark. A graduate of Shepherd High School, Tom became a truck driver in 2004 and, at one time, owned and operated Mid Michigan Service. He was currently employed by Bob Bissell for the past six years. He enjoyed time with friends and family, riding his motorcycle and snowmobiling in Michigan's upper peninsula with his nephew Ronnie. Tom married Kimberly Buchanan and have been together for over 39 years. Also left to cherish his memory is his son Chad (Jessica) Buchanan of Alma; two grandchildren, Audrey and Dakota Buchanan; siblings, Roberta (Bob) Richardson of Shepherd, Jim (Barb) Clark of Mt. Pleasant, and Anna (Joe) Pfinner - Clark of Colorado; and many nieces and nephews, including his special nephew Ronnie (Lisa) Horning of Mt. Pleasant. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marilyn Chapman and Carla Clark; and brothers, Charles "Butch" Clark and Art Clark. Tom's funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 1, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. He will be laid to rest in Salt River Cemetery immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
