Thomas Duane Salters

Thomas Salters, 63, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Friday, Oct. 22, 2010, at his residence in Winchester Towers. Cremation has taken place and his memorial service will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, at First Church of Christ, 1610 E. Broadway. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Pleasant Soup Kitchen. Envelopes are available at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home, 2300 S. Lincoln Rd. Tom was born April 2, 1947, in St. Johns, the son of Keo Carson and Dorothy Mae (Bowen) Salters. His friends describe him as the finest man.
