Timothy Lee Brown

Timothy Brown, 42, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2011, at home, surrounded by family. His funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 21, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant with Jon Pohl officiating. Burial will follow in Gilmore Township Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Woodland Hospice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Tim was born Aug. 4, 1968, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of David Alan and Donna Kay (Pankhurst) Brown. He worked as a union carpenter, was passionate about hunting and fishing and loved spending time with his family. Tim is survived by his parents, David and Donna Brown of Mt. Pleasant; three sisters, Pamela (Steve) Lieske of Sebring, FL, Kimberly (Ben) Burrows of Lake Isabella, and Nicole Brown of Mt. Pleasant; his girlfriend, Nikki Inches of Caro; six nieces and nephews that he loved very much Tyler, Sydney, Samuel, Hailey, Jacob and Lincoln; paternal grandmother, Gladys Brown of Mt. Pleasant; and numerous aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Samuel and Ruth Pankhurst; paternal grandfather, Glenn Brown; and aunt, Sandy Pankhurst.
