Timothy Marvin Eldridge

Timothy Marvin Eldridge, age 53, of Weidman passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019 at home.

Tim was born on March 28, 1966 to Marvin M and Marjean C (Rydahl) Eldridge in Mt. Pleasant, MI. He was raised in the Weidman area and attended Chippewa Hills schools. After high school Tim attended Mid Michigan Community College receiving an associate's degree and then Grand Valley State University and obtained a bachelor's degree in chemistry. Tim worked for Corteva Corporation as a chemical technician. He enjoyed going to car shows, air shows, working in amateur radio and traveling, was a military history buff and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Tim is survived by his mother, Marjean of Mt. Pleasant; brothers, John (Kathy) Eldridge of Hudsonville and Brian (Susan) Eldridge of Visalia CA; nephew, Seth Eldridge and niece, Olivia (Edgar) Gil and numerous relatives and friends.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Eldridge; infant sister, Sandra; and brother, Philip.

A funeral service for Tim will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at the Weidman Baptist Church, 7555 W. Airline Road, Weidman at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dean Willard officiating. The family will greet family and friends at a visitation on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Maier Family Funeral Home, 5483 W. Weidman Road, Weidman. A visitation will also take place one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. Interment will take place at Strong Cemetery in Mecosta County.
