Timothy Craig Reed

Tim Reed, 53, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at his residence. A celebration of Tims life will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, July 21, at the Mt. Pleasant VFW Post. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be to the VFW Post 3033. Envelopes are available at Lux Family Life Story Funeral Home, 2300 S. Lincoln Rd. Tim was born May 28, 1960, in Howell, son of Glendon and Dorothy (Hicks) Reed. A graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1979, Tim served in the U.S. Army from 1979-1984. He was employed as a contract plumber. Survivors include his daughter, Brittany Reed of Olympia, WA; mother, Dorothy Reed-Driver of Mt. Pleasant; eight siblings, Gerald (Mary) Reed of Acworth, GA, Glendon (Jane) Reed of Springfield, MO, Claude (Cindy) Reed of North Muskegon, Kenneth (Cindy) Reed of Webberville, Steven Reed of Mt. Pleasant, James (Tammy) Reed of Marion, Janice (Michael Lovejoy) Reed of Mt. Pleasant, and Tom (Megan) Reed of Groveland, FL; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Glendon Reed; step-father, Lyle Driver; and brother, Frederick Reed.
