Tina Rae Segar

Tina Segar, 34, of Mt. Pleasant and formerly of Plymouth NC, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2009 at Central Michigan Community Hospital. Cremation has taken place and services will be held later in North Carolina. The family is being served by the Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant. Tina was born June 18, 1974, in Washington NC, the daughter of Bruce and Phyllis (Wynn) Waters. She married Joseph Segar on July 4, 1995, in Watertown, NY. A graduate of Plymouth High School in North Carolina, Tina worked as an in-home health care provider. She and her husband had lived in Farwell and Portland prior to coming to Mt. Pleasant in 2008. She loved animals and enjoyed fishing and will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Tina is survived by her husband, Joseph; three sons, Christopher, Thomas, and Eric, all at home; her mother, Phyllis Waters of Mt. Pleasant; and her father, Bruce Waters of Plymouth NC.
