Vera M. Glover, 89, of Weidman died Saturday, November 3, 2001 at the Wooden Rocker in Mt. Pleasant. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, at St. Joseph Church in Beal City with Father John Cotter officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant at 4 p.m. Friends may call at Lux Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Cancer Services. Envelopes are available at the funeral home. Vera was born April 21, 1912, in Beal City, the daughter of John E. and Anna (Elias) Gross. She was married to John McKenzie until his death in 1977. She then married Robert Glover in 1979 and were married for 11 years before he died in 1990. She enjoyed gardening and flowers. Vera is survived by one son, John ''Jack'' McKenzie of Dimondale; three grandchildren, Katherine, Mark and Dan; 10 great grandchildren; one sister, Kathryn Utterback of Mt. Pleasant; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, John McKenzie in 1977; her second husband, Robert Glover in 1990; a son, Gary A. McKenzie in 1955; and her brother, Charles Gross.
