Vickie Sue Boge

Vickie Boge, 60, of Mt. Pleasant passed away unexpectedly Monday, February 23, 2015, at her home. A Funeral Mass for Vickie will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at St. Joseph the Worker Church in Beal City with Father Thomas Held presiding. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the gathering room of the church on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. with the Vigil beginning at 7:30 p.m. Visitation continues on Friday one hour prior to Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph the Worker Church or School. Envelopes will be available at the church or at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home. Vickie was born Oct. 24, 1954, in Mt. Pleasant, daughter of Victor Joseph and Donna Eileen (Recker) Boge. She graduated from Beal City High School in 1973. Vickie is survived by her parents, Victor and Donna Boge of Mt. Pleasant; four siblings, Mary Boge of Mt. Pleasant, Robert Boge of Ithaca, twin sister, Sandra Boge of Beal City and Brian (Sandy) Boge of Beal City; and sister-in-law, Janet Boge of Mt. Pleasant. Also missing her will be her nieces and nephews, Melissa, Carrie, Mandy, Kattie, Joshua, Kristopher, and Nicholas; step-nieces and nephew, Mia, Michaela, Kayleigh, and Connor; very special friends, Jean Reihl, Sherry Theisen, Carrie Bradford, Robin Lovejoy, and Barb Houghton; and one extra-special Buddy. She was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Boge in 2014; brother, Ronald Joseph Boge in 1981; and infant sister, Terrie Eileen Boge in 1956.
