Victoria Linda Rogers

Victoria Rogers, 69, of Clare, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 2, 2020, at her home. She was born October 25, 1951, in Mt. Pleasant, daughter of the late William T. and Wenonah (Block) Beltinck. A 1969 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School, Vickie enrolled in cosmetology school. She soon became a cosmetology instructor in Grand Rapids and later owned and operated a salon in Harrison, MI, for over 30 years. Her passion continued most recently where she co-founded the Water Works Academy and greatly impacted countless aspiring students.  Vickie married Kevin Rogers on September 23, 1988, and shared 32 wonderful years. Together, they enjoyed the outdoors, traveling and golf.  Vickie was a breast cancer survivor and lovingly cared for her three siblings through their passings.  She was an avid reader, an accomplished cook and was devoted to her family.   Vickie is survived by her loving husband, Kevin; two children, Elizabeth (Butch) TerHaar of Holland and Steven (Johnara) Carpenter of Grand Rapids; five grandchildren, Dustin TerHaar, Mackenzie TerHaar, Jahna Salisbury, Paul TerHaar, and Taylor Carpenter; sister, Denise (Ronney) Morey of Mt. Pleasant; sisters in-law, Lizabeth (Joe) Forrest, Susan Beltinck, Patty Ann (Jack) Moore, and MaryBeth (John) Roland; brothers in-law, Thomas Sheredy,  Tim (Elaine) Rogers and Terry (Pam) Rogers; and nieces and nephews, Alissa (Mark) Haynak, Stephanie Beltinck, Andrea (David) Porter, Max (Michelle) Morey, Benjamin (Emily) Beltinck, Jennifer (Jason) Germain, Matthew Burden, Nicole (Sam) Castillo, Brooklyn Castillo, Luke Beltinck, Jesse Beltinck, and Moriyah Beltinck. She was preceded in death by her parents, William T. and Wenonah Beltinck; sister, Therese "Fae" Sheredy; brothers, John Beltinck and Scott Beltinck; and brother in-law, William Rogers. A public Funeral Mass for Vickie will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, December 4, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Don Henkes as celebrant.  The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to Mass.
