Violet Jane Robinson

Violet Robinson, 88, of Rosebush passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at the Woodland Hospice House in Mt. Pleasant.  Violet was born on March 25, 1934, daughter of the late Victor and Imogene (Gaugier) Doerfer.  She graduated with the class of 1954 from Mt. Pleasant High School.  Violet raised her two sons, Kenneth and Wayne in South Lyon and after moving to Rosebush, she worked at Mt. Pleasant Sash and Door and then later at the Commission on Aging.  Raised as a farmer's daughter, she enjoyed gardening and lawncare.  She was good to everyone and will be greatly missed.  Violet is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Betty) Keast of Lansing and Wayne (Terri) Keast of North Carolina; grandchildren, Kasey, Kenneth, Kelly (Casey), and Kalan Keast all of Lansing, and Nathan and Ashley Keast both of North Carolina; sister, Ellen Weisburg of California; many great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by both parents; and nine siblings. Cremation has taken place at Memorial Fields Crematory and there are no services scheduled at this time.
