Wilbur Warren Williams, age 73, most recently residing in Mount Pleasant, MI passed away at home on July 21, 2013 surrounded by his family. Wilbur was born on December 15, 1939 in Coldwater, MI. He resided for the majority of his life in Bronson, MI, graduating from Bronson High School in 1958. He met his wife Ella Faye (Cole) Williams over 49 years ago and was married on April 9, 1964. Wilbur pursued his life dream of farming during his entire working career, including managing a dairy business for over 15 years. His work ethic was recognized by all that knew him. Along with farming, he also worked for LA Darling, as a bus driver for Bronson Community Schools and retired after 25 years of service as a Custodian for Coldwater Community Schools. He always enjoyed being outside, loved to fish, was a master mechanic with a prize workbench and enjoyed maintaining his International farm equipment, Harley Davidson and Ford Trucks. Wilbur continued his passion for life till the very end. He was blessed with a very close family and survived by his wife, Ella Faye (Cole), three children and 8 grandchildren including daughter, Gina (Williams) Gilbert and husband John, grandchildren Troy, Michael and Ashley of Sanford, FL; Son, Forrest (Don) Williams and wife Becky (Ward), grandchildren Amber (Covington), Chris and KayLynn of Alma, MI; and youngest son Kip Williams and wife Jennifer (Brickner), grandchildren Elijah and Kamden of Mount Pleasant, MI. Wilbur spent his last several years in retirement enjoying his family and especially his grandchildren. He made many trips to Florida and enjoyed the farm views from his home in Mount Pleasant as he spent time with them. They loved his sense of humor and will carry fond memories of their grandfather as his legacy continues to live through them. Wilbur was also survived by his sister Janice (Wolford), niece Cathy (Smith), and nephew Steve (Sweet) and their children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest Donald Williams and Rita Agatha (Scaggs). We know hes watching over us from heaven and celebrate not only his life together but also his new found peace. A private celebration of his life is planned.
